Tennessee Tech Win Health Award
An engineering group at University has won an annual award from the Tennessee Public Health Association. Early Intervention and Mechanical Engineering at the school has received the Partners and Leadership Award from the association. The award goes to a non-public health professional group that has made a major contribution to public health initiatives. The group has provided innovative, engineered products to children with special needs. More than three-hundred Tech engineering students have completed projects through the program. It’s done such work for more than a decade. Some of the projects are playgrounds, walkers, wheelchairs, tricycles, bicycles, beds and toys.
