Foster Care Community Block Party
Youth Villages will celebrate Foster Care Awareness Month with a community block party Thursday, May 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Youth Villages office, located at 24 Weatherford Square in Jackson. The community is invited to enjoy free hot dogs and popcorn, face painting, a DJ, a cake walk and games. Representatives will be on hand to talk about the need for foster parents and how people can change the life of a child in need by becoming a foster parent.
