South Elem. Students Perform ‘Seussical’
Some of the stories from the legendary Dr. Seuss came to life for one Madison County school. South Elementary students performed “Seussical Junior” for their fellow students, Friday. Every third, fourth and fifth grade student at the school took part in the production. School officials said the play is a great opportunity for students to learn while still having fun. “That’s what I love about performing arts is those kids that might not be great at sports and don’t excel in academics they, several kids in the main cast, this is what they do well, music,” said Jennifer Hooper, music teacher at South Elementary School. The students had two performances, Friday. One for fellow students and another for parents.
