MS Nurse Sentenced for Felony Abuse
A Columbus nurse has been sentenced to ten years in prison for abusing a vulnerable person in her care. 53-year-old Sherrill Culpepper pleaded guilty Monday in Lowndes County Circuit Court. Culpepper was accused of putting a hot flat iron on the skin of a vulnerable person. Circuit Judge Lee Coleman also fined Culpepper $5,000.
