Florists Busy With Last-Minute Mother’s Day Deliveries

A local floral shop has been flooded with last-minute orders for Mother’s Day. The owners and employees of Sand’s floral shop have been busy all week and even more busy Saturday. They said they have had dozens of floral arrangement requests pour in between Friday and Saturday. Their goal for Saturday is to tackle 60 bouquets. Nearly 500 flower bouquets will be arranged and delivered for Mother’s Day. “Tulips are really big and a lot of spring fresh mix flowers…just bright colors mainly, not many roses,” said owner Chris Maxwell. Maxwell said Mother’s Day is their second busiest holiday.
