RIFA’S Food Bank is about to get a major boost, all thanks to Madison County manufacturer, Bodine Aluiminum. All the food was collected by Bodine’s 300 team members. It is about 13,000 pounds or 6.5 tons of food. Each year Bodine Aluminum’s Jackson facility competes with sister locations in Troy and St. Louis. Missouri in a food drive competition. In the end, all three communities win. “We want to be able to give back to our community, let them know that we care, we are grateful to work here and to live here in the Jackson Madison County area and we know the work RIFA does supports the entire West Tennessee area,” said Jason BatesAdministration Manager. For a second time, the Jackson facility won the Bodine competition, with team members collecting the most food.
