First Responders Honored at Picnic

Jackson first responders were honored at a luncheon for thei service to the Hub City and the community. Residents at the Northbrook Health Care Center hosted the First Responders luncheon as part of National Nursing Home Week. Organizers said this is one way for the residents to said thank you to those who serve the community. “They do us a big favor they take of our lives they take care of our children that’s important,” said Renee Mathes of Northbrook Health Care. Organizers said they hope to make the luncheon an annual event.
