Bemis Days Celebrated in South Jackson

It is shaping up to be a fun-filled weekend for the whole family in Bemis. The annual Bemis Days festivities kicked-off Friday in south Jackson. Participants were able to enjoy live music from the two-day event. Acts such as “Shine” Wilburn and Rayburn Anthony and Band performed. For those looking for some great food, Bar-B-Que plates were sold. If you missed Friday’s events, the celebrations will continue on Saturday with a bus tour of Bemis, as well as bar-b-cue. There is no admission charge for the events, but donations are accepted.
