Nine Plead Guilty to Meth Conspiracy

Eight Mississippi men and another from Kansas have accepted plea agreements to a conspiracy charge in a federal investigation of a large meth distribution ring that operated in Hancock County and elsewhere. The conspiracy involved possession with intent to distribute meth. Investigators said the men were part of a network that distributed meth throughout South Mississippi over a two-year period. The men are Glenn Michael Bonano Jr., Glenn Michael Bonano Sr. and Trevor Aron Cook, all of Waveland, Miss.; Gavin Miles Meranto and Vincent Joseph LeBlanc III, both of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; Cameron Scott McLaurin of Kiln, Miss.; Nicholas Joseph Shiyou of Saucier, Miss., Billy Paul Lee of Carriere, Miss. and Jonathan Fatu Andersen, of Wichita. They pleaded guilty at separate hearings last week.
