MS Woman Arrested for False Report
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd says a 40-year-old Vancleave woman has been arrested on a charge of filing a false police report. Byrd says the charge stems from Alicia Delen Tanner reporting that her credit card had been stolen and that someone had been using the card since Dec. 22. During the initial stages of the investigation, Byrd said Wednesday authorities discovered that Tanner actually had knowledge of who was using her credit card and that she was present during some of the purchases. The sheriff said that Malcolm McMillan was arrested earlier this week for credit card fraud, based on information provided by Tanner.
