Family Members Want Answers After Hardeman Co. Shooting

TOONE, Tenn. – It has been three days since a Toone woman was found shot on her porch. Her twin brother, who did not want to be identified, told 7 Eyewitness News the family heard the news about the shooting from a friend. “It was shocking it just shocked me terrible. The whole family it shocked we wasn’t expecting nothing like this,” said her brother. We are not identifying the shooting victim at this time. Her family said they tried to get information from the Hardeman County’s Sheriff’s Department, so far they have little to go on. “We just like to know the condition she’s in and we’re not able to get that information from from the sheriff’s department or the hospital,” he said. The victim’s twin brother said he understands why the sheriff’s department isn’t giving out information. Her brother said, “I wouldn’t want to interfere with the investigation and I know they wouldn’t either they just want who ever done this brought to justice.” Like most twins, her brother tells me on the day of the incident he felt her pain. “I don’t know why I was just very sick and I just felt bad that day this happened its like I was suffering to like she was.”
