Triple Homicide Identities Released
A deputy coroner has identified the woman and two children who were fatally shot at a home in Louisville. Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Jo-Ann Farmer says that the victims were 26-year-old Sade Goldsmith, 6-year-old John Devine Jr., and 5-year-old Jon’Tee Devine. Farmer said autopsies are scheduled for Monday. Police found Goldsmith and the children fatally shot on Sunday after being called to the home a little before six a.m. They also found a man at the home suffering from a gunshot wound and took him to a hospital. Police think Goldsmith is the mother of the children, and that she had a prior relationship with the man. Police have said they don’t believe anyone else was involved, but they haven’t ruled out any possibility.
