KY School District Under Investigation
The Office of Educational Accountability in Frankfort is investigating the Fleming County School District in northern Kentucky. Karen Timmel, division manager of investigations, confirmed the probe, but declined to release any details. She says the office conducts investigations only if it receives a written complaint. She said a report would be released after the investigation concludes. The newspaper reports the probe is one of many issues the district has faced in the past year. It also had to hire a new superintendent when the sitting one resigned due to the school board’s decision to not renew his contract.
