Youth Villages 5K Jackson
Youth Villages will hold its 3rd annual YV5K in Jackson, Tenn., Saturday, March 2 at Pringles Park. The race will begin at 9 a.m., with awards presented at 10:30 a.m. Following the race, participants can enjoy live music, food, drinks and children’s activities. The cost to participate is $20 for runners and $15 for untimed walkers and spirit runners. All proceeds benefit Youth Villages, a private nonprofit organization that helps emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully. Runners can register online at http://support.youthvillages.org/site/TR?fr_id=1340&pg=entry, and packets can be picked up Friday, March 1 from noon to 6 p.m. at Dicks Sporting Goods, located at 1165 Vann Drive in Jackson. Registration will also be available on-site from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m.
