Cynthia Savage

Cynthia Savage joined the WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Team as a Production Assistant in May 2012. That November, she stepped into the role of Producer and Anchor for Good Morning West Tennessee on Saturdays. Cynthia is a native of Henderson County. She earned her bachelor degree in Broadcast Journalism at MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Her minor was in Latin American Studies. While in college, Cynthia worked as a Video Journalist for the City of Murfreesboro‘s TV station. In 2006, she joined the Christian Broadcasting Network in Nashville. There she worked as a Producer and Researcher for The 700 Club. During that time, she traveled to more than 20 states producing a variety of feature stories. In 2010, Cynthia moved back home to West Tennessee to live closer to family. Ryan and Cynthia Savage are blessed with four children; Reuben, Seth, Lanie and Ava. During the week, she teaches Spanish and English at Lexington High School. She is currently working towards a MAT degree at the University of Memphis.
