Jackson Police: Man Arrested Before Break-In

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Police said they put a suspected burglar behind bars before he could even break into a local business. Police told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News they arrested Danny Sweat near 40 Bond Street early Sunday morning, after getting a call from a concerned resident. The caller said they saw a suspicious looking man, wearing a ski mask, being dropped off in the area. Officers said Sweat was hiding near some bushes, and was wearing a backpack with burglary tools in it. Police said he is facing a charge of possession of burglary tools. Sweat’s bond will be set Monday morning.
