UTM Equestrians Face Key Match
The University of Tennessee at Martin equestrian team will host Fresno State at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12, at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Pavilion. The first 25 children in the door get a free t-shirt. The Skyhawks enter Saturday‘s competition with a 4-6 won-loss record. Fresno State is ranked No. 9 in the nation in the latest coach‘s poll. The last time Fresno State traveled to Martin, two years ago, the Skyhawks and Bulldogs battled to an 8-8 tie. Fresno State won in raw score 979.5-974.5 “This match up should be close and pivotal in the rankings for postseason competition,” UT Martin head coach Meghan Cunningham said.
