Generals Set Fan Fest
The Jackson Generals will hold their first ever Fan Fest Tuesday, April 12th, with the Pringles Park gates opening at 5:00 PM. The event is completely FREE and open to the public. The Fan Fest will prelude the Generals‘ home opener against the Jacksonville Suns (Marlins Affiliate) on Wednesday, April 13th at 7:05 PM. Fans will get to meet the 2011 Jackson Generals, watch batting practice, take photos, get autographs ON THE FIELD and much more! Fan Fest will feature something for everyone in the family. For the kids, the Generals‘ will set up the Kids Zone with a bounce house, inflatable slide and more. Fans can challenge themselves in the Interactive gaming bus from Games2u Entertainment with PS3, XBOX, and Wii systems. Generals‘ mascot, Sarge will be entertaining fans and of course, available for pictures. You can also find your favorite Pringles Park food items for sale at the concession stands that will be open throughout the event. “We are anxiously anticipating the home opener on April 13th,” said Generals GM Tom Hanson. “We are excited to roll out the new Jackson Generals logo and brand to our great fans of Jackson and West Tennessee. We want everyone to have a great time and open the season with a blast!” Entertainment will be provided by Memphis Jones and door prizes will be given throughout the night.
