Meth Lab Found Inside North Jackson Hotel

Three suspected meth cooks are behind bars in Madison County after investigators found an active meth lab inside a north Jackson Hotel Saturday. According to officers, investigators received a tip about an active meth lab at a Hotel in the 2300 block of North Highland Ave. When they arrived, officers said they saw one of the suspect’s vehicles leaving the parking lot. When they stopped the driver, David McMillan, 37, of Medina for a traffic violation, they found him attempting to destroy a bag which contained nearly 1 gram of finished meth. When officers returned to the hotel room they found two more people inside including a number of drug paraphernalia and an active meth cook in progress. Brittany Harris, 26, of Lexington and Justin Davis, 28, of Humboldt were taken into custody. All three suspects face a number of meth related charges. They remain behind bars at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex to await arraignment in Madison County General Sessions Court.
