Martin PD Makes Drug Arrest

While performing a routine traffic stop over the weekend, Martin Police arrested a man after they said they found marijuana in his car. Officers said Charles Elmore, 35, of Martin was arrested for possession of marijuana. Officers originally pulled Elmore over for speeding, but said he acted extremely nervous, which prompted them to ask if they could search his vehicle. Investigators said they found a plastic bag with what appeared to be four and a half grams of marijuana in his pants. He was booked, they released on a $1,500 bond.
