Semi-truck crashes into church in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — The Savannah Police Department is advising all citizens of a road closure following an accident involving a semi-truck.

The intersections of Main Street and Pickwick Street as well as Main Street and Bridge Avenue are closed after a semi-truck crashed into a church.

The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
