Two Madison County Factories Layoff Workers

90 West Tennessee workers are out of jobs, or soon will be, after two Jackson plants announced they are letting employees go. Stanly Black and Decker is laying off 58 workers. The power hand tool maker has told the state it will let 25 employees on the Delta product line go by June 10 and release 33 workers at the south plant by the end of July. Duro Bag Manufacturing Company in south Jackson has also confirmed to the state that it has laid off 32 workers this month. Duro makes paper bags for companies across the country.
