Some Lexington Electric Customers to be in Dark until Tuesday

This video is no longer available.

Monday’s storm took down limbs, trees, power poles and lines and because of that countless homes and businesses were still without power Monday night. In fact some Lexington Electric customers could be without power until sometimes Tuesday. Lexington Electric workers told ABC 7 Eyewitness News late Monday night that even they are unsure at this point of how many of their customers are still without power. Lexington Electric serves all of Henderson and Decatur counties and part of Hardin county. Workers say downed lines and poles are to blame for most of the outages. Crews are scheduled to work through the night in hopes of getting as many homes and businesses back online as possible.
