Bradford Inducts First Leos Club

A group of Gibson County elementary school students became founds members of an elite organization, Tuesday night. Twenty-nine students from Bradford Elementary were inducted into The Leos Club. The club is a part of the well-known Lions Club and is open to students, kindergarten through eighth grade in Bradford. Club leaders say the club gives students the skills they need to be tomorrow’s leaders. “It gives them leadership,” said Joe Taylor, President of the Bradford Lions Club. “They will attain knowledge and understanding of what our town represents and what the benefits are of our school, club and community.” Organizers say there are nine Leo Clubs active across West Tennessee. This is the first one to be established in Bradford.
