JMCSS Supt. Search Begins

The search for a new superintendent for the Jackson-Madison County School System is heating up. Thursday night, a search committee consisting of school board members, David Clifft, Joe Mays and Bill Baxter, along with three members of the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce recommended the hiring of search firm BWP and Associates. According to its website, the Illinois-based firm specializes in the search and recruitment of top educational leaders. The board will meet with the company for the first time, Monday night at 6:30 at the district office.
