Rain Slows Search in Decatur County

PARSONS, Tenn. (AP) – Heavy rain has slowed the search through rugged terrain in western Tennessee for a woman officials say was abducted from her home by a man wearing camouflage. A break in the rain about midday Friday allowed dozens of law enforcement officers and volunteers to resume looking for 20-year-old Holly Bobo near Parsons, about 100 miles northeast of Memphis. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Agent John Mehr said Friday that Bobo was last seen Wednesday morning being walked away from her home by the man toward woods around her home. The TBI previously reported her 25-year-old brother saw her being dragged away, but Mehr clarified that description. Authorities continue to suspect foul play in the nursing student’s disappearance. Decatur County Sheriff Roy Wyatt said there are no suspects.
