Police Investigating Saturday Night Convenience Store Robbery

Police are looking for the person who robbed a North Jackson convenience store, Saturday night. According to investigators, the robbery happened just before 11:00 p.m. at the Varsity Market gas station. Police say a heavy set black male wearing all black and an orange bandanna entered the store and robbed it at gunpoint. The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
