Woman Charged in Perry County for TernnCare Fraud

PERRY COUNTY, Tenn.- A Perry County woman is in trouble with the law, again for using TennCare in what investigators called doctor shopping. State and local investigators said Allyson Hinson, 31, of Linden is facing charges of three counts of fraudulently using state health insurance benefits as payment for hydrocodone prescriptions. Investigators said Hinson was arrested less than a month ago for going to multiple doctors to get a controlled substance. If convicted on the charges, she could face up to two years in jail.
