March Against Violence
Hello my name is Kelvin Jones, I am a member at Abundant Life Temple. I have enclosed two document concerning information about an upcoming event on October 27, 2012. This event is a march against violence and drugs. Here in the recent months it seems like you hear about a shooting everyday. We have had a few of our members who have been affected by this both sides as victims and suspects. We have to reach this community before violence completely take over. We can’t sit back and expect the local law enforcement to do this by themselves we as a community must get involved and create and design a positive atomosphere for our youth as well as our adults. We have had our church broken into this year and its time to take a stand against these acts of violence. For a change something positive will be happening and also showing people in these affected communities that people do care and are willing to take neccessary steps to help increase the safety working with our local law enforcement agencies.
