Drug sweep aimed at 45 suspects in Greene County
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A drug sweep in Greene County is aimed at arresting nearly four dozen suspects.
Sheriff Steve Burns told The Greeneville Sun (http://bit.ly/16u4O1Z ) the roundup that began Monday morning is connected mostly to the illegal use and sale of prescription pills and crack cocaine.
As many as 45 suspects were being rounded up by sheriff’s deputies, the Greeneville Police Department and agents of the Third Judicial District Drug Task Force.
