“Shake and Bake” Meth Lab Confiscated

SOUTH JACKSON — Two people were arrested on Tuesday after narcotics investigators discovered a “shake and bake” methamphetamine lab in their home. When officers entered the residence they found Lance Jason Taylor, age 30, and Tiffany Lucinda McBride, age 26 inside along with an inactive “shake and bake” meth lab. Further search of the premises revealed additional precursors, reagents and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine along with a small amount of finished methamphetamine, 6-Morphine pills, a digital scale and drug packaging materials. Taylor and McBride are charged with Initiation of Methamphetamine Manufacture, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute and Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Additionally, McBride has two outstanding arrest warrants in other jurisdictions. Both, Taylor and McBride are currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex where they await arraignment in Madison County General Sessions Court.
