Lieutenant To File Sexual Harassment Charges Against Woolfork

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The Madison County Attorney has been notified that a new sexual harassment claim will be filed against Sheriff David Woolfork. A letter was received by Steve Maroney, Tuesday. Lt. Lisa Balderrama has hired Jackson attorney Michael Weinman to represent her. According to the letter from Weinman to the county, Balderrama intends to file a claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The letter did not include any other details of her allegations. Lt. Balderrama is assigned to court security at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex.
