Weakley Sherrifs Search For Meth Suspects

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Sheriffs have arrested a pair and are searching for another pair in connection to methamphetamine production. On Thursday, Oct. 31, deputies from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant for marijuana at a residence on Garland Street in Greenfield. The warrant was obtained after Deputy Tyler Milam went to the residence to serve a civil paper from chancery court and smelled marijuana when the resident opened the front door. During the search, a meth lab was found in an outbuilding on the property along with finished meth, marijuana and assorted pills inside the house. A meth task force truck came to the scene and removed the lab. Robert D Hopgood, 40, of Old Troy Road in Martin and Tiffany Rene Pritchard, 31, of Shades Bridge Road in Greenfield were both at the house and both were charged with manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Arrest warrants have been drawn for Chadwick Robinson, 28 and Gena Harris, 53, in connection with the case. Both were residing at the house at the time but left just prior to the execution of the search warrant.
