Charges filed in Brookhaven shooting

BROOKHAVEN, Miss. (AP) – A Brookhaven man has been charged with murder in a weekend fatal shooting at a trailer parl.

Police Chief Bobby Bell tells the Daily Leader (http://bit.ly/1ciXDyb ) that Don Bolds was being held in the Lincoln County jail without bond on a murder charge.

Bell says 18-year-old Trevor Williams was shot Sunday night at the trailer parl. He says Williams died after being taken to King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Bell says investigators believe an altercation that took place earlier Sunday led to the shooting.

It was unclear whether Bolds has an attorney.
