NORTH JACKSON — The holiday weekend is far from over as some West Tennesseans get out in our not so normal but good temperatures. During 4th of July weekend, the highs won’t go past 90 degrees, which is slightly cooler compared to our normal temps this time of year. The holiday brought cool winds and just the right amount of sun. On Saturday, WBBJ caught up with residents at North Park who told us how they’re enjoying the good weather. “[I’m] just relaxing, having some cookouts and just enjoying times with friends and family,” Sharla Teel said, a parent at North Park. “From the time we woke up to the time we went to bed you couldn’t ask for more perfect weather for this holiday weekend,” Katie King said, another parent at North Park. “[This is] weather we have not seen in a long time.” The lows for Saturday night are expected to be in the 50s.
