Accused prostitutes formally charged

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The women arrested after a prostitution sting in Jackson appeared in court on Monday morning. Sadie Merriweather and Tequilla Jones were arraigned on one count of prostitution in Jackson City Court. Both women have $3,000 bonds. Sabrina Cox was arraigned on two counts of prostitution and posted her bond of $3,000. All three women will be back for their preliminary hearings either later this month or in August.
