Humboldt man charged with aggravated sexual battery of toddler

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A Humboldt man is in custody and charged with Aggravated Sexual Battery of a toddler. Jimmy Ryan Nichols, 23, is facing charges after an alleged incident on Mape Street in Humboldt on Sunday. Police say it involved a 15-month-old female family member. Nichols has been transferred to the Gibson County Correctional facility and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
