New police chief appointed in Dyersburg
DYERSBURG, Tenn. — There’s a new chief in Dyersburg, as Steve Isbel is announced as the new Dyersburg Police Chief. Dyersburg Mayor John Holden appointed Isbel on Wednesday. Isbel has been with the department for 22 years, and was most recently the assistant police chief. The previous chief, Art Heun, left the position in June after he was told his contract would not be renewed. He was hired in 2009.
