UPDATE: Person of interest in custody after deadly shooting at Armory
LOBELVILLE, Tenn.-A person of interest has been taken into custody after a deadly shooting late Wednesday afternoon in Perry County. According to WSMV-TV, the TBI said a person of interest was taken into custody in connection with the shooting at the National Guard Armory located between Lobelville and Linden. They were looking for a white man in his late teens, early 20s, last seen was wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and a red shirt. and considered to be armed and dangerous. Investigators said a staff member was shot at the armory around 4 p.m., Wednesday and pronounced dead at Vanderbilt Medical Center. The victim’s name has not yet been released. People living around the armory were being urged to stay inside and lock their doors, while county, state and federal investigators search for the suspect.
