Tennessee Disaster Animal Response Team Credentialing Class

The credentialing program assures that individuals asked to respond to a disaster incident will be properly trained and qualified in animal care. Shelter volunteers, UT Agricultural Extension personnel, animal control personnel, animal owners, livestock producers, veterinarians and veterinary technicians are invited and encouraged to attend the classes. Upon completion of the class, a photo identification badge will be issued by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) to identify the people who are qualified to work with animals at an emergency or disaster site.
