On Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00am-12:00pm there will be a community forum at Jackson‘s Empowerment And Enrichment Complex (JEEC) at 438 E. Main St. According to SMSgt (USAF Retired) Elmore Richmond Jr. President of JEEC, there are answers to help improve the relationship between the police and the people they are “duty bound” to protect and serve. Richmond will draw on over 40 years of social actions experience and serve as moderator of a panel of community leaders and experts. The community is invited to participate in this resolution process. Richmond has been working social actions concerns since 1973; sixteen of those years were during his career with the Air Force. He has trained thousands on human relations, to include police officers, resolved hundreds of complaints, counseled corporate America and is the author of eight books.
