TN Disaster Animal Response Team Credentialing Class

Saving The Animals Together is hosting DART training provided by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. There is no charge for this training but there is limited space and registration is required to attend. The credentialing program assures that individuals asked to respond to a disaster incident will be properly trained and qualified in animal care. Prior to attending the class, the student must complete the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Courses IS 100b, 200b, 700a.and 800b. These courses may be taken online. Upon completion of the class, a photo identification badge will be issued by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) to identify the people who are qualified to work with animals at an emergency or disaster site.
