JACKSON, Tenn. — Family and friends of Cinque D’Jahspora took to the streets in a march for justice. D’Jahsporah allegedly was killed by a Jackson police officer after police said D’Jahsporah attacked and stabbed Officer Raymond Bond in November 2014. “We recognize that this is connected to a larger issue and a larger sickness affecting our nation right now, and Jackson is not immune to it,” L’Sana D’Jahspora said. Supporters from all over came to Jackson to demonstrate. The march circled its way through downtown Jackson, stopping in front of several buildings the family said represent unanswered questions in their son’s investigation. “These are icons representative of the obstruction of justice in this case and cases like it,” D’Jahspora said. “We cannot bring Cinque back,” Michelle Curtain said. “However, I understand that Q’s case is not an isolated event.” The march was attended by more than 25 supporters.
