Feds: Nashville man captured in Atlanta after chase
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Federal authorities say a Nashville man who is accused of robbing two Piggly Wiggly grocery stores has been captured in Atlanta following a brief chase and struggle with police after he was seen leaving a motel room.
David Rivera, the top federal prosecutor in Nashville, said in a statement that 29-year-old James Inman Taylor has been charged with two robberies and two counts of using a firearm during a crime of violence. Taylor is accused of robbing the grocery stores on Jan. 9.
Authorizes have been searching for Taylor since February. He is currently being held in federal custody in Atlanta. It’s not clear if he has an attorney yet.
