STAR Center gets new director of development

NORTH JACKSON — The STAR Center has a new director of development. Jon Abernathy will oversee donor relations and fundraising for the nonprofit, which serves adults and children with disabilities. Abernathy previously worked at Union University where he established the school’s first full-service disability department. He officially assumes this new role May 18.
