All-Stars play final high school game

NORTHEAST JACKSON, Tenn. – Liberty Tech High School is the place to be this weekend for competitive high-school basketball action. The Crusaders are expecting hundreds of fans for the annual West Tennessee All-Star game on Saturday, May 30. Local standouts are excited to play against the area’s best. “It feels good to be noticed,” Dyersburg senior Jay Howard said. “It’s a blessing.” The festivities will also feature a slam dunk and three-point contest. “You want to play with the best kids you go against every night,” Howard explained. “It’s crazy; it’s going to be fun.” Action begins at 3 p.m. and admission is $6.
