JACKSON, Tenn. — Readers participating in the summer reading program at the Jackson-Madison County Library got an unusual “escape” on Friday. The reading program is called “Escape the Ordinary,” and Jackson Escape Rooms were at the library Friday for a free event. Jackson Escape Rooms are described as immersive, interactive, team-based, life-size, puzzle-solving adventure games. Participants are forced to rely on their wits, attentiveness, inventiveness and resourcefulness to escape, according to organizers.
