CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — One thing Friday’s rain hopefully won’t put a damper on are the hopes of many firework vendors in the West Tennessee area vying to bring in business for one of the year’s busiest seasons. Vendors on the Chester County line say the wet weather hasn’t really bothered their sales. In fact, they say they’re still seeing a steady stream of customers showing up to get their last-minute firework fix and are having to constantly restock. Vendors also told us this year’s sales already are tracking ahead of where they were before the Fourth of July last year.
