World’s Biggest Fish Fry carnival opens in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — The carnival at the World’s Biggest Fish Fry opened Monday as part of the 73rd annual event.

The carnival opened at 5 p.m. Monday with $25 armbands. Children with coupons from school receive $5 off armbands, which provide access to unlimited rides.

“Every year, we try to build from the previous year. So this year, we tried to make it bigger and better by adding new things for people to do,” said Monty Starks, a World’s Biggest Fish Fry Inc. board member.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Paris Police Department will provide security throughout the event.

The carnival will open Tuesday at 5 p.m., Thursday at 11 a.m., Saturday at 11 a.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.
