Gibson Co. fire chief Cathey back home after heart attack

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — After spending part of the weekend in the hospital, Gibson County Fire Chief Bryan Cathey, who suffered a heart attack last week, is back home. Chief Cathey is finally home recuperating from his spell of bad health last Friday. That’s when officials say he suffered the heart attack while responding to a morning fire at the Dyer Grain Company and had to spend the night in the ICU. He’s scheduled to return to work in five weeks.
